The Solander Symposium in Piteå, 11-12 September, will be the arena and breakthrough for cooperation between forest industry, oil companies and truck makers in Sweden.
Two major projects will be presented: The BioDME-project with Chemrec, Volvo, Preem, Total, Delphi and ETC that will produce the biofuel DME for trucks. SunPine AB with Preem, Sodra, Sveaskog and Kiram that will produce the biofuel talldiesel to be blended with ordinary diesel. It will also be the official opening of Solander Science Park.
