Solander Symposium 2009

It is my pleasure to invite you to the Solander Symposium in Piteå, Sweden on 11-12 November 2009. The theme of the symposium is From Wood to Wheel.

This is an opportunity for the participants to meet, discuss and exchange ideas about the future of Forest Bioenergy and pulp mill Biorefinery technology.

Piteå is the home town of the Swedish State Secretary, Mr Ola Alterå, Ministry for Enterprise, Energy and Communications.

He is looking forward to meeting you to discuss the role of the
forest in fighting the climate change.

We would also like to show some of the important developments
going on right now, such as the world’s first industrial scale
production facility for renewable diesel from forest based
feedstock, as well as the world’s first BioDME-project to
demonstrate production of biofuel from lignocellulosic
biomass from black liquor.
